HUNGER PROTEST: TINUBU'S SPEECH EMPTY- KATSINA CSOs

The chairman of Katsina Coalition of Civil Societies Organisation, Comrade Abdur Rahman Abdullahi has described President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's speech as empty.

Speaking in an interview with pressmen comrade Abdullahi argued that the speech did not address the fundamental grievances of the protesters.

He noted that the grievances revolves around restoration of fuel  subsidy, hunger, insecurity and food security.

The chairman said the speech did not outline any roadmap aimed at addressing the issues raised by the protesters.

He added that issue of provision of fertilizer is immaterial because according to him " how can farmers have access to the farm lands due to insecurity? ".
